Job Summary

This role at Deutsche Bahn, one of Germany's largest engineering firms, offers an experienced Planning Engineer the unique opportunity to specialize in railway control and safety technology (LST) and develop into a Certified Expert Examiner. You will undergo extensive qualification and gain critical project experience to achieve certification as a plan and acceptance examiner. Day-to-day, you'll ensure the technical quality of planning for digital interlocking technology, existing systems, and ETCS, and oversee successful project commissioning on-site. The position involves applying railway-specific laws, regulations, and technical standards, evaluating complex digitalization solutions, and advising stakeholders on technical matters. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Fach-/Hochschulstudium) in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Communication/Information Technology, Railway Systems, Rail Vehicle Technology, or a comparable field. Recognition by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as a Certified Expert Examiner for Plan Review (Prüfsachverständiger Planprüfung nach EPSV bzw. VV PSV STE) is a plus.

Experience
