Job Summary

This role involves contributing to environmental protection efforts in Brandenburg by managing complex grant projects focused on nature conservation, environmental sustainability, and research. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the administrative and financial implementation of grant initiatives, from reviewing applications to auditing usage reports. You will also provide expert advice and support to internal departments within the State Office for the Environment (LfU) on grant applications, administration, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed (technical) university degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Administration, Administrative Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or comparable studies.

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative and financial grant processing, ideally within the state of Brandenburg
  • Basic knowledge of Budget, Grant, and Administrative Law
  • Willingness to acquire further specialized knowledge promptly

  • This is a fixed-term contract until approximately December 2026. Applicants with degrees obtained outside Germany must provide a German translation and evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) or an ANABIN database excerpt.
