Job Summary

This role involves supporting environmental protection efforts by working as a Laboratory Technician for water analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining measurement and sampling stations, including calibration of probes and troubleshooting minor issues. Key daily tasks include year-round, regular outdoor sampling of surface waters and river measurement stations, conducting on-site analysis with handheld devices (e.g., pH, oxygen), and preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The position also requires laboratory activities at external stations, such as cleaning and maintaining nitrate and phosphorus sensors, and managing data entry, validation, and maintenance in databases.
