Job Summary
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting a key client, DLR. Day-to-day, you will be the primary point of contact for users, providing essential client support for Windows 11, MS Office, and Skype for Business. You'll manage incident, request, and change tickets, and be involved in patching and replacing network devices, access points, and cabling, including fiber optics. Collaboration with central operations for problem resolution is key. The position is attractive due to excellent working conditions, competitive salary, and strong potential for permanent employment with the client. You'll also work with Linux systems like RedHat and Ubuntu, with opportunities for continuous development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Practical experience in Cisco networking
- Practical experience in CAT 5, 6, 7 and fiber optic cabling
- Professional experience in client support
- Professional experience with Linux systems (ideally)
Languages
Additional
- Valid driver's license (PKW Führerschein)
