Job Summary

This role involves the calibration of measuring instruments and performing supervisory tasks within the scope of calibration enforcement. Key responsibilities include calibrating devices for flowing liquids (excluding water), non-automatic and automatic scales, weights, length and area measuring devices, and speed measuring devices. The engineer will also oversee pre-packaged goods and conduct market and usage surveillance of measuring instruments, including implementing regulatory measures. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in a relevant engineering field, a Class B driver's license, and a willingness to travel for fieldwork and participate in specialized training in metrology. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Measurement Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Willingness to participate in training at the German Academy for Metrology (DAM)
