Job Summary

This doctoral researcher position focuses on developing robust, open-source, and reproducible workflows for mass spectrometry-based omics data in biological and clinical research. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and test computational tools for standardizing and ensuring the robustness of omics data, collaborating with experimental and clinical researchers for validation. The role involves contributing to open-source software projects, community standards, and publishing scientific results. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diploma/Master) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or equivalent

Experience

  • Demonstrated programming experience (e.g., via GitHub projects, published pipelines, or analysis scripts)
  • Experience in reproducible science, open-source development, and FAIR data principles
  • Experience in mass spectrometry-based metabolomics/proteomics or omics data analysis (advantageous)
  • Experience in machine learning or deep learning (advantageous)
