Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Hardware/System Architect to independently develop device hardware architectures for future broadband communication systems operating in the GHz range, utilizing Smart Antenna Technology. The architect will design hardware architectures for various aircraft classes, focusing on modularity, performance, and hardware/firmware/software partitioning. Key responsibilities include defining hardware architectures and interfaces in close collaboration with software architects and system engineering, creating detailed specifications, and overseeing hardware design aspects such as component selection, SoC high integration, RF and digital design, layout, mechanics, cooling, interfaces, and bus systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of radio communication hardware system architectures, experience with high integration and performance optimization of GHz radio systems, and proficiency in MBSE and DOORS.
