Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity for an IT Generalist to support cutting-edge medical research within one of Europe's most modern clinical IT environments at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). You will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing essential IT infrastructure and support for stroke care research projects in the Clinic for Neurology. Your day-to-day will involve planning, conceptualizing, and managing central IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, and advising researchers. This position is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging IT to advance scientific discovery and improve patient outcomes, offering a chance to contribute to national and international research initiatives in a dynamic and supportive academic medical setting.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in a relevant IT field or a comparable field, or equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise IT structures
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience if holding a university degree in a comparable field
  • Experience in IT support (advantageous)
  • Experience in requirements management (advantageous)
  • Experience in project coordination (advantageous)
  • Experience in IT security (advantageous)
  • Experience in data protection (advantageous)
  • Experience in medical research projects (advantageous)
