Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth, you will play a crucial role in supporting the German Navy's NH90 NTH MRFH helicopter program. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing and evaluating technical and logistical inquiries, providing direct communication between the German Armed Forces and Airbus Helicopters, and supporting the planning and execution of test requirements for modified helicopter avionics components. You will conduct and document system tests, apply and maintain software tools and aviation simulations, and manage certification processes. This role is attractive for professionals with a background in aerospace and a military understanding, offering a chance to contribute to critical defense projects and train military personnel on helicopter maintenance and repair.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in aerospace
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance
- Several years of professional experience in technical documentation
- Knowledge in avionics systems and/or aviation software system development (NH90 experience is desirable)
- Military background, preferably with the German Armed Forces and operational experience
- Knowledge of relevant regulations for the certification and operation of German Armed Forces helicopters (NH90)
