Job Summary

Join a multidisciplinary team in Tumor Biology and Vaccines, focusing on innovative cancer immunotherapies. In this role, you will be instrumental in exploring and improving cutting-edge treatments like adoptive cell transfer and RNA lipoplex-based vaccination, primarily utilizing preclinical mouse tumor models. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning, executing, and analyzing in vivo experiments, processing mouse tissues for in vitro analysis, and contributing to lab organization. The ideal candidate will possess a technical assistant apprenticeship or a degree in life sciences, coupled with essential practical experience in animal experiments and strong communication skills in both German and English. This position offers a dynamic research environment and the chance to contribute significantly to cancer immunotherapy advancements.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as technical assistant, Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or Master's degree in Life Sciences; FELASA function A (or similar qualification)

Experience

  • Professional experience in conducting animal experiments, including standard techniques
  • Experience in rodent surgery techniques (plus)
  • Experience in fluorescence microscopy or intravital imaging (plus)
  • Basic experience in cell culture and in vitro assays (advantage)
