Job Summary

This role seeks a Biologist to join the Tumor Biology and Vaccines unit, focusing on developing innovative cancer immunotherapies. The core responsibility involves working with preclinical mouse tumor models to understand and exploit the metabolism of cancer and immune cells. Day-to-day tasks include planning, executing, and analyzing preclinical mouse experiments, processing tissues for in vitro analysis (e.g., flow cytometry, Seahorse), and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will contribute proactively to lab organization and explore state-of-the-art immunotherapies like RNA lipoplex-based vaccination and metabolic reprogramming. Key qualifications include a degree in life sciences, mandatory FELASA Function A certification, and practical experience in animal experimentation, making this an essential role in a dynamic, international research environment dedicated to cancer immunotherapy innovation.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Life Sciences or related fields, or apprenticeship as a technical assistant; FELASA Function A (or similar qualification) required

Experience

  • Practical experience in conducting animal experiments (mandatory)
  • Experience in cell culture and in vitro assays (desirable)
  • Basic knowledge in conduction metabolic assays (plus)
