Job Summary

This role involves the independent planning, organization, and execution of clinical-experimental studies within microbiology, infectiology, and gastroenterology. The Study Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting study centers, physicians, and the study team, including at external sites. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining study documents, ensuring compliance with GCP guidelines and ethical regulations, and communicating with various internal and external partners. The position also entails recruiting and supporting study participants, processing biomaterials, and documenting data. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or vocational training in a medical, scientific, or health-related field (e.g., Biology, Biomedicine, Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, or comparable)

Experience

  • Experience in conducting clinical studies is desirable
  • Knowledge and practical experience with common laboratory methods are advantageous
  • Familiarity with study protocols, ethics applications, and regulatory processes (Ethics Committee, BfArM, data protection, etc.)

  • This is a part-time position (50% employment) and is initially limited until December 31, 2026, with the option for extension.
