Job Summary

This Senior IT Support Engineer will be responsible for the integration, commissioning, and configuration of software and hardware within communication management systems for the German Navy. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, coordinating with development teams, and contributing innovative ideas for system improvements. The role involves working on test specifications, interface documents, and technical documentation, as well as conducting functional tests both in the test field and on board client vessels. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree or equivalent professional training with relevant experience in IT system integration, particularly with complex systems. Strong skills in Linux, Windows Server, and network protocols are essential, alongside an interest in IT lifecycle management and automation technologies.
