Job Summary

As Head of Customs, you will be responsible for ensuring the customs integrity of the Heinemann Group, operating strategically and proactively with direct influence on international business processes. This role involves leading and developing a dedicated Customs team, formulating the group's customs strategy, and managing customs-relevant processes across all group companies. You will ensure customs compliance, optimize customs-related processes by collaborating with other departments, and integrate customs aspects into strategic projects such as tenders and M&A. Acting as the primary contact for customs and financial authorities, you will leverage your expertise to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and negotiation abilities, coupled with extensive experience in customs law and authority interaction.
