Job Summary

This role involves acting as the Customs Business Process Expert, focusing on defining and documenting functional requirements for SAP systems (GTS, ERP, EWM) related to customs and excise tax law. The expert will monitor EU and German legislation regarding customs and excise duties, assess their impact on business processes and goods flows, and serve as the interface to IT for process optimization and legal compliance implementation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing requirements for new developments, handling reporting needs for stakeholders (including customs authorities and internal audit), and providing analyses and recommendations for optimizing customs procedures. The position requires strong analytical skills, deep SAP process understanding, and the ability to lead internal Key Users, ensuring seamless execution of customs-relevant projects in a dynamic retail environment.
