Job Summary
This role is for an IT Support Specialist to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting end-users within a client environment, specifically the DLR (German Aerospace Center). The specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for Windows 11, MS Office, and Skype for Business clients, handling incident, request, and change tickets. Key responsibilities also include patching and replacing network devices, access points, and various cabling, including fiber optics. The position requires collaboration with central operational units to resolve issues efficiently and a willingness to learn and develop skills in Linux environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in Cisco network environments
- Experience in CAT 5, 6, 7, and fiber optic cabling
- In-depth knowledge of client environments
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems with a willingness for intensive development
