Job Summary
This role involves leading a technical operations group, coordinating and managing the deployment of skilled tradespeople and service technicians to ensure smooth property operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently implementing maintenance, repair, and modernization measures on operational technical systems in accordance with legal requirements. Key responsibilities include overseeing work processes to ensure quality, managing budgets economically, and assuming operator responsibility for on-site technical systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a full-time, permanent role within the Bundeswehr, contributing to critical infrastructure management and ensuring high standards of technical facility operation. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to democratic values.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician specializing in Energy and Building Technology, or a craft-based vocational training with a successfully completed master craftsman certification in the learned profession (preferably in electrical, metal, or plant mechanics).
Experience
- Several years of experience in a leadership function with strong knowledge of employee management
- Professional experience in technical facility operations and maintenance

Additional
- Class B driving license and willingness to acquire a Bundeswehr Class B driving license and operate a service vehicle; Commitment to the liberal democratic basic order; Willingness to undergo a medical examination; Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2 Sabotage Protection is mandatory); Position available from November 1, 2025; For foreign educational qualifications, proof of recognition in Germany is required; For foreign language application documents, a certified German translation must be attached.
