Job Summary

This role involves critical technical work at the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) Calibration Center, focusing on the maintenance and precision calibration of highly sensitive, complex, and processor-controlled measuring and testing equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed incoming inspections, conducting fault diagnoses, and independently executing calibration procedures while selecting appropriate testing devices and meticulously documenting all steps. The technician is also responsible for maintenance and repair down to the component level, implementing technical changes, and managing tool upkeep. This position offers indefinite employment (TVöD E9a pay grade) and targeted professional development. Candidates must possess technical expertise in calibration and maintenance, be prepared for regular domestic and international business travel, and commit to continuous advanced training. This is a vital, on-site role supporting national defense capabilities.
