Job Summary

This role involves operating the User Help Desk Community of Interest MilNw (First-Level Support) and the Federated Service Desk for BGX Brussels (BICES Group Executive) within the Bundeswehr's IT Services Command. The specialist will be responsible for prioritizing error messages and requests based on urgency and severity, assigning them to appropriate IT procedures, and conducting thorough error analyses. Key duties include identifying disruptions, researching solutions, and resolving technical issues. The position requires mandatory shift work and continuous participation in training and professional development. Ideal candidates will have a completed vocational training in IT, such as an IT Specialist for Application Development or System Integration, and must be willing to undergo a comprehensive security clearance process.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (Fachinformatiker, Technische Systeminformatiker, IT-System-Kauffrau/mann, or IT-Systemelektroniker) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Application Development/System Integration), Technical System Informatician, IT System Management Assistant, or IT System Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification
  • Willingness to perform shift work duties

Languages
