Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position at the Bundeswehr Service Center in Hannover focuses on maintaining and optimizing complex technical building infrastructure. The Technical Specialist is responsible for ensuring the continuous functionality of the central Building Management System (BMS) through inspection, monitoring, parameterization, programming, and maintenance of large-scale heating, ventilation, and electrical systems. Key daily tasks include operating autonomous decentralized control stations, adjusting parameters for energy-efficient operation, commissioning new plants, and monitoring critical infrastructure like fire protection and power distribution facilities. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as an Electrician (Energy/Building Technology or Automation/System Technology) and be willing to acquire a SAUTER plant-specific expertise certificate. This role offers stable employment under the TVöD tariff (up to pay grade 9A depending on qualifications), but requires flexibility for mandatory on-call and standby services, making it a critical and demanding technical role.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician (Energy and Building Technology or Automation and System Technology) or comparable electrical vocational training; Plant-specific expertise certificate from SAUTER or willingness to obtain one.
