Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Engineering Sciences (ideally Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Pharmacy, Environmental Technology, Quality, Environment, Safety, and Hygiene). Alternatively, a comparable degree with at least 60% focus on the aforementioned areas, or certified inspector with a Master's degree/University Diploma.

Experience

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience post-university degree
  • Ideally, experience in quality and project management
  • Desirable: several years of leadership experience
  • Desirable: operational experience in occupational health and safety (preferably in BGW-insured sectors)
  • Desirable: profound knowledge of BGW-specific topics

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must possess a Class B driving license. Willingness to undertake business trips (company car provided). Must be a citizen of an EU country at the time of application. Willingness to undergo a 2.5-year training program as an inspector in the higher service.
