Job Summary

This pivotal role involves managing, planning, and coordinating complex acquisition projects within the massive Air2030 program, Switzerland's largest ever defense acquisition initiative. You will be instrumental in strengthening Swiss air defense by leading medium-complexity projects and managing sub-projects within the overarching program structure. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive planning and steering documents, covering results, timelines, resources, costs, and risk management, and ensuring project processes align with the Air2030 master plan. The ideal candidate holds a university degree and IPMA certification, coupled with proven expertise in Waterfall project planning methodologies. Success requires strong practical skills in MS Project, an ability to clearly visualize complex interactions for various stakeholders, and proficiency in an official Swiss language plus B2 English. Required Skills

Education

University degree or University of Applied Sciences degree, and completed IPMA certification

Experience

  • Proven several years of experience in successful project planning and execution using the Waterfall method
  • Professional experience in generating current planning indicators at the program level
  • Experience identifying critical program interdependencies and developing alternative solutions

Additional

  • Must possess oral and written knowledge of an official Swiss language (French, German, or Italian) and B2 level English. Ability to transcribe complex interactions into clear, level-appropriate presentations.
