Job Summary

This role involves working as a technical staff member in a data center, primarily focusing on monitoring central IT applications, servers, and data networks. Key responsibilities include assisting with troubleshooting and incident management, and providing 1st-level support via a central IT hotline, meticulously documenting all interactions in a ticketing system. After an initial three-month training period during day shifts, the position transitions to a flexible four-day shift model, including night shifts, with two days off between cycles. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with a technical background and good communication skills to contribute to the critical IT infrastructure of the Bavarian Police, ensuring public safety in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist), ideally with further qualification as a state-certified technician, or other completed vocational training supplemented by basic IT knowledge.

Experience
