Job Summary
This role involves shaping the future of hybrid learning environments by designing and implementing cutting-edge audiovisual media concepts. As a Project Engineer, you will represent the university's interests as a client to external planners and contractors, define new media concepts, and lead projects from planning and tendering to construction supervision and billing. A key part of your day-to-day will be managing budgets, ensuring cost control, and overseeing external engineering firms. This position is ideal for someone with a background in media technology or electrical engineering, strong project management skills, and a desire to contribute to an innovative educational setting. You'll work within a supportive team, contributing to state-of-the-art facilities and ensuring seamless digital and hybrid teaching and learning experiences.
Required Skills
Education
Degree (FH-Diplom/Bachelor) in Media Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in AV media technology
- Professional experience in planning and construction management (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Knowledge of HOAI service phases (desirable); Knowledge of public procurement and contract law (e.g., VOB, VOL, VgV, UVgO, GWB) (desirable)
