Job Summary

This role seeks an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems to join the Institute for Inorganic Chemistry (AOC) at a leading German Excellence University. The core responsibilities focus on the critical maintenance, repair, and restoration of electrical devices utilized for teaching and research purposes. A key part of the job involves conducting regular safety inspections (DGUV3) of electrical systems and operating equipment to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Furthermore, the technician will actively participate in the planning and manufacturing of new electrical devices, particularly within ongoing research projects. Candidates must possess a completed relevant vocational training and demonstrate experimental dexterity, reliability, and a high degree of personal initiative. While experience in developing electrical circuits is highly desirable, a collaborative spirit and willingness to work effectively with students and apprentices are essential.
