Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Engineer to manage and control complex construction projects within the Technical Building Equipment (TGA) sector at KIT. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and steering construction projects, specifically handling electrical engineering aspects across all service phases (1-8) according to the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI). You will define project scope, develop solution variants, conduct profitability calculations, and rigorously ensure project goals regarding cost, deadlines, and quality are met. A key duty is coordinating the project organization, including managing external specialist planners and establishing meeting structures. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and possesses several years of professional experience in construction project execution, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of building technology regulations and laws.
