Job Summary

This role involves overseeing and managing water treatment and demineralization plants within power generation facilities, including a combined heat and power plant and a waste-to-energy plant. The specialist will be responsible for independently monitoring and testing steam and water quality, preparing dosing solutions, and accurately documenting measurements. A key aspect of the role is responding to and resolving operational disruptions, as well as performing essential maintenance and servicing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in water supply technology or chemical laboratory work, with a strong understanding of boiler operation and water chemistry in power plants. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to energy supply security and sustainable energy initiatives in Würzburg.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, e.g., as a Water Supply Technology Specialist or Chemical Laboratory Technician; ideally, a Boiler Operator course certification.
