Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Engineer passionate about sustainable power and heat supply, specifically for a new biomass-fired power plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical and control technology within the power plant, ensuring rapid and sustainable fault resolution. Key responsibilities include acting as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) in the power plant's operational area, leading maintenance and optimization projects, and coordinating external and internal partners for maintenance and servicing. The position also involves overseeing relevant inspections, supporting audits, and managing cybersecurity for industrial automation systems, ensuring compliance with safety and IT guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to contribute to a critical pharmaceutical site's energy supply.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical or Automation Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- More than 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of a power plant
- Initial leadership experience (desirable)
- Experience in leading projects (desirable)
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty
