Job Summary

As a Configuration Manager for Rail Electrification at Siemens Mobility, you will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration and change management of products and projects. Your day-to-day will involve developing, documenting, and implementing configuration management processes in close collaboration with internal and external partners like procurement and project management. You will define and manage configuration elements such as software, hardware, and documentation to ensure high data quality and availability. A key aspect of this role is optimizing and monitoring configuration management processes to maintain the integrity and traceability of all configurable objects, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, normative requirements, and customer specifications. You will also conduct configuration audits, provide training and consultation to various teams, and generate reports to support strategic decisions, acting as a central point of contact for configuration management within the organization.
