This role offers a unique opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to act as a client representative for critical energy systems within Germany's railway infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in large-scale electrification and modernization projects across Berlin, Brandenburg, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Day-to-day responsibilities include representing DB Energie GmbH's interests in electro-technical matters, ensuring the operational safety and availability of 16.7Hz and 50Hz railway power supply systems, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to enduring infrastructure projects, bringing technical expertise in power supply systems, and demonstrating strong communication and independent work skills.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or industrial engineering with a focus on electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of switchgear technology, protection and control technology, and remote control technology is beneficial
  • Knowledge of railway power supply is advantageous
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, rules, and standards for construction projects is desirable
