Key responsibilities include advising on hardware and software procurement, ensuring IT security standards, maintaining servers, and setting up IT workstations. The position also entails providing user support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting via phone, remote access, and on-site visits, and representing the faculty in user committees. Additionally, the IT Officer will create documentation, assist with website maintenance, and act as a decentralized data protection officer. This is a crucial role for someone with a background in IT system integration, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to IT management.
