Job Summary

This PhD student position offers an exciting opportunity to join an interdisciplinary research team focused on multimodal imaging of inflammation and cancer. The successful candidate will work on developing and applying advanced imaging tools, specifically using novel nanostructured contrast agents (aza-BODIPYI) to study immune cell dynamics in murine models. Day-to-day tasks will involve performing multimodal in vitro and in vivo imaging (FRI, PAI/MSOT, MRI), labeling and tracking immune cells, conducting histological analysis for validation, and analyzing imaging data. The role is part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1450 and involves participation in its graduate school, presenting research findings, and contributing to cutting-edge research in biomedical imaging and immune-related processes. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong interest in scientific work and interdisciplinary collaboration.
