Job Summary

As a Senior IT Technician for Datacenter operations, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and continuous development of the data center infrastructure in Augsburg. This role involves hands-on management of server and network systems, including hardware rack installations, cabling, and patch management. You will implement and operate container/Kubernetes and cloud infrastructures, automate tasks using scripting, and provide 2nd-level hands-on support for technical issues. The position requires adherence to security policies and SLAs, as well as meticulous documentation.
