Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated System Administration and Digitalization Officer within the Finance Department of the City of Neumünster. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing the city's financial processes through modern digital solutions. Day-to-day tasks involve the continuous development and maintenance of the H&H pro Doppik financial software, including implementing new modules, managing interfaces, and ensuring robust error management. A key focus will be on driving the digitalization of accounting processes, from e-invoicing to electronic tax notices, and contributing to relevant projects. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of municipal accounting, IT systems, and a proactive approach to digital transformation, offering a chance to significantly impact public financial administration.

Required Skills

Education

Qualification for career group 2, 1st entry-level (formerly higher service) in General Services or comparable; OR comparable employees with Angestelltenprüfung II; OR a completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable field; OR other employees with equivalent abilities and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in municipal accounting (desirable)
  • Experience in leading a working group (desirable)
  • Experience in project management, ideally in digitalization (desirable)
