Job Summary
This role involves providing essential on-site IT services for the German armed forces, focusing on troubleshooting, new installations, and refreshing IT and telecommunications end-user devices and systems. The successful candidate will perform IMACD tasks, offer 1st and 2nd-level support to users both on-site and remotely, and handle the installation, commissioning, upgrading, and maintenance of hardware and software. Additionally, the position includes administering customer IT infrastructure, participating in IT projects, and performing on-call duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional with strong German language skills and a Class B driver's license to contribute to critical IT infrastructure within a secure and significant public sector environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable qualification
Experience
- 3 years of professional experience in IT/telecommunications support, including on-site service
- Experience in order and fault clearance for IT/telecommunications hardware, networks, and telecommunications
- Experience and qualification in DGUV V3 (German Social Accident Insurance Regulation 3) is a plus
