Job Summary
This role involves working as an Electronic Reconnaissance Specialist focusing on radio communications within the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Day-to-day tasks include capturing, reporting, commenting on, and documenting radio communications of varying difficulty. You will monitor known frequencies, search for new signal sources, and record captured voice radio traffic using various documentation methods. A key part of the role is recognizing and evaluating specific characteristics within radio communication processing and transmitting information to relevant stakeholders using defined reporting formats. You will utilize current software programs to select and process texts and audio within your assigned area. Additionally, you will independently research background information to prepare translations and situational reports for superiors. Required Skills
Education
• Qualification for the mid-level non-technical administrative service or mid-level technical administrative service, OR • High school diploma equivalent to Mittlere Reife or Hauptschulabschluss, AND • Completed vocational training in a technical field or in administration, tax, or legal professions (e.g., administrative assistant, retail salesperson, office clerk, specialist in organization).
Experience
- Professional experience in telecommunications and electronic reconnaissance (capture and evaluation), demonstrated by at least two years of continuous professional activity.
- Experience in shift work.
- Familiarity with military intelligence functional processes (desired).

- Must be a German citizen as per Article 116 Paragraph 1 of the Basic Law.
- Willingness to participate in a medical examination.
- Willingness to participate in an extended security clearance (Ü3 level required).
- Must possess a Class B driving license and a Bundeswehr driving license 'b' or be willing to acquire it.
- Agreement to drive official vehicles.
- Commitment to the free democratic basic order as per the Basic Law.
- Must not have completed the 50th year of age at the time of appointment for potential civil servant status.
