Job Summary
As a Project Manager for Converters at Siemens Mobility, you will lead complex bid and execution projects for railway power converters, often involving multi-million Euro budgets. Your day-to-day will involve meticulously analyzing tenders to identify specific customer requirements and independently developing competitive and profitable solution concepts. You will be instrumental in steering cross-functional teams, including engineering and procurement, and collaborating closely with various internal departments and external partners. This role demands a proactive leader who is hands-on, contributing to continuous process improvements and ensuring valuable lessons learned are integrated into future projects. You'll be working primarily with 16.7 Hz railway converters for a leading German railway power supplier, playing a crucial role in advancing sustainable mobility solutions.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline with an electrical engineering focus
Experience
- Many years of professional experience in energy supply
- Several years of practical experience in project management
- Relevant project management certification (ideal)
