Job Summary

Join the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg as a Clinical Data Manager, contributing to vital cancer research within the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT). This role involves comprehensive data management for scientific clinical trials, from setup to analysis. You will perform data review, cleaning, and query management, ensuring high data quality and integrity. Key responsibilities include designing and validating electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) in EDC systems, preparing essential data management documentation, and programming with SAS for data analysis and presentation. You will collaborate closely with study teams and investigative sites, monitoring documentation and supporting the creation of study reports. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Medical Documentalist or a degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in Medical Documentation, Medical Information Management, Clinical Data Management, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in medical documentation, medical information management, or clinical data management
  • Experience with EDC software (preferably MARVIN)
  • Good knowledge of SAS
  • Interest in medical issues and good knowledge of relevant legal regulations, recommendations, and guidelines in clinical trials, especially GCP
