Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE) is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their team in Garching, near Munich. This role is crucial for the NewAthena Wide Field Imager (WFI) project, a key instrument for the future ESA NewAthena mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning and comprehensive testing of complex analog and digital electronic modules, including power supplies and FPGA-based control electronics. Key tasks involve defining test requirements, developing test procedures, designing test setups, and creating VHDL test blocks for FPGA verification.
