Job Summary
As an Expert Product Manager at the IT-Systemhaus of the Federal Employment Agency, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT services for unemployment benefits. You will coordinate the development of new and existing IT products and solutions, creating product roadmaps and collaborating closely with development teams, clients, and users to maximize product utility. This involves defining role-specific objectives, analyzing and prioritizing requirements, managing product lifecycles, and overseeing the product portfolio. You will also be responsible for the unit's budget and resource allocation, ensuring close collaboration and synergy across IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. This position offers the chance to work with a modern tech stack, agile methodologies, and DevSecOps principles, with the flexibility of up to 80% home office.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or comparable qualification (preferred fields: Computer Science, Business Informatics)
Experience
- Many years of relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of product development and management
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, product portfolio optimization, and product innovation
- In-depth knowledge of project planning: experience in advising technical stakeholders and implementing complex technical requirements
- Strong knowledge of budget management and resource allocation control
