Job Summary

The Specialist System Engineer will join the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency (BA) to support software development teams in leveraging DevSecOps principles, enabling them to release applications more frequently and easily. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool landscape, which includes central development tools and the Intranet Container Platform based on Kubernetes. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, managing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure within the CI/CD environment, ensuring system availability and security, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree or equivalent qualification, several years of relevant professional experience, and profound knowledge of CI/CD tools, software development/operations, and Agile methodologies. This position offers the opportunity to shape the digital future of one of Germany's largest IT landscapes, with the flexibility of up to 80% remote work.
