This role involves providing essential 1st and 2nd level IT support within a research-focused environment in Cologne. The specialist will be responsible for receiving, analyzing, and resolving IT incidents, or escalating them appropriately. Key daily tasks include supporting colleagues with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office issues, managing user accounts in Active Directory, and meticulously documenting all processes in a ticketing system. The ideal candidate will possess a background in IT support, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Windows and Office applications. This position offers a minimum 12-month contract with potential for long-term engagement in a meaningful, future-oriented setting, contributing to innovative research.
