Job Summary

This Service Manager role focuses on coordinating the end-to-end (E2E) service chain within an innovative defense environment, specifically handling mobility services. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring strict contractual compliance, actively managing and resolving conflicts between service providers and customers, and steering escalations to boost customer satisfaction. The manager will lead a virtual agile service team, plan and coordinate involved stakeholders and external service providers, and participate actively in agile project teams. Key qualifications include a strong IT background (education or extensive experience), minimum ITIL Foundation V3 certification, and significant professional experience (3+ years) in IT Service Management, particularly within the Mobility/MAM/EMM domain. The position also requires proven experience as a Product Owner and expertise in project management methodologies, offering a dynamic opportunity to drive service improvement and technical coordination.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT training or IT degree, alternatively several years of professional experience in the IT field; ITIL Certification (minimum Foundation V3)

Experience

  • 3+ years in IT Service Management and E2E Service Operations, ideally in Mobility/MAM/EMM environment
  • Approximately 3 years experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience in agile steering of activities
  • Project management experience including planning, steering, and coordination of tasks, projects, and stakeholders
