Job Summary

Join the 'Clinical-Experimental Allergology' research group at Philipps-Universität Marburg as a full-time Technical Assistant. This role is crucial for a clinical study focused on chronic spontaneous urticaria, involving the processing of human samples and conducting various cellular assays. Day-to-day tasks include performing cell culture techniques like isolation and cryopreservation of human cells, cultivating cell lines, and conducting immunological assays such as flow cytometry and ELISA. You will also be responsible for meticulous documentation, guiding students, and managing organizational tasks like coordinating patient materials. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Medical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical Technical Assistant, possess strong cell culture experience, and be adept at independent, meticulous work within a highly motivated research team.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Medical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical Technical (Laboratory) Assistant, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in cell culture techniques
  • Experience with immunological detection methods and microscopy (advantageous)
