The City of Trier is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer to spearhead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of information and data security concepts for the city administration. This role involves implementing and operating an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on BSI recommendations, coordinating security objectives with strategic goals, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will analyze organizational and technical processes for security vulnerabilities, provide actionable recommendations, and ensure compliance through documentation and control of IT security measures. This position also includes planning and conducting essential information security training for staff.
