Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth, ongoing operation and maintenance of the IT system landscape within the Education and Media Center, primarily supporting the Adult Education Center (Volkshochschule), Music School, and City Library. Day-to-day tasks include managing and procuring hardware and software, maintaining Windows servers, and configuring network components. A key focus is providing technical support for IT course rooms and managing specialized administrative software (such as KuferSQL, IMikel, and Bibliotheca), including handling updates, customization, training, and staff support. The ideal candidate holds a relevant IT qualification (e.g., System Integration Specialist, Application Development Specialist, or IT Management degree) and is proficient in Office applications, with a willingness to learn specific specialized software.
