Job Summary
This role involves operating, maintaining, programming, and monitoring building automation systems, IT networks, databases, and electronic locking systems. The specialist will analyze alarms, fault messages, and limit violations to optimize operational processes and independently generate data-driven reports, such as energy consumption controls, collaborating with leadership and energy managers for evaluation. Responsibilities also include preparing data for the Central Monitoring and Operations Management Station (ZÜB) and performing necessary repairs, assisting with ordering parts. The position requires continuous participation in training and development. This is a full-time, permanent position in Leipzig, offering an attractive salary based on the TVöD public service collective agreement, with potential for a recruitment bonus. The role emphasizes work-life balance with flexible hours and offers opportunities for participation in sports and health programs.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician for Industrial Systems, Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in operating, maintaining, programming, parametrizing, administering, and monitoring building automation systems, IT networks, databases, and electronic locking systems
- Experience in evaluating alarm, fault messages, and limit violations
- Experience in creating data-based reports and data preparation
- Experience in performing repairs and assisting with parts ordering
Languages
Additional
- Class B driving license (German or equivalent) or willingness and ability to acquire a Bundeswehr Class B driving license; agreement to drive an official vehicle. Physical fitness for daily stair climbing, lifting and carrying loads, sustained postures, working on ladders, steps, platforms, scaffolding, and aerial work platforms (height compatibility). Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions. Commitment to the liberal democratic basic order as per the German Basic Law. Agreement to participate in a medical examination.
