This role seeks a technically proficient Sales Consultant to drive the acquisition and management of clients requiring sophisticated automation solutions across the Eastern Switzerland region. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from analyzing customer needs and developing tailored technical solutions to preparing and negotiating offers and finalizing contracts. Key responsibilities include providing technical support and training to clients on product usage, managing sales targets for your designated territory, and actively participating in industry trade fairs and customer events to present the company's portfolio. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in automation technology (likely possessing an HF/FH level qualification) who excels in a customer-facing environment and is comfortable taking full revenue responsibility for a demanding sales area.

Required Skills

Education

Higher Technical College (HF) or University of Applied Sciences (FH) degree, preferably combined with a vocational background (e.g., Automation Technician EFZ).

Experience

  • Professional experience in new customer acquisition
  • Experience in managing and advising existing clients
  • Proven ability to analyze customer requirements and develop tailored automation solutions
  • Experience in creating, negotiating, and closing offers and contracts
  • Proven ability to manage sales targets and revenue responsibility for a defined territory
