Job Summary

Step into a pivotal role as a Leading Automation Engineer within a successful Swiss industrial operation known for its international environment and commitment to innovation. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing smart automation solutions, focusing on the interplay of mechanics, software, and control technology across complex systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing robust hardware concepts aligned with specifications, creating sophisticated control concepts using modern fieldbus structures, and meticulously drafting electrical schematics using specialized ECAD tools like EPLAN or COMOS. You will manage technical documentation, coordinate production processes (including switch cabinet manufacturing and FAT), and support crucial on-site commissioning and IO testing. This position offers significant creative freedom, exposure to modern technologies, and long-term career perspectives. Candidates must possess a technical background combined with advanced training in Automation or Electrical Engineering, alongside excellent proficiency in both German and English.
