Job Summary

The University Hospital Jena is seeking a Data Scientist (Research Associate) to join a BMBF-funded project focused on the automatic detection of care-specific events in intensive care unit patients. This role, initially for three years with potential for extension, involves conceptualizing and maintaining data collection masks in REDCap, cleaning and preparing both structured and unstructured clinical data, and performing scientific data analyses with a strong emphasis on machine learning methods. The successful candidate will also contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and third-party funding acquisition, while advising on qualification theses.
